On the banks of Mekong river, 50 km from neighboring Udon Thani and 5 km from Friendship Bridge, the border crossing to Laos, the FGCC office and instructional building is situated in the Old Provincial Hall at Prap Hau Monument.

On-site facilities include six classrooms, a presentation hall, a science laboratory and a music room. Other facilities include the Marcus Butler computer room for smaller classes and student research, the e-Tambon computer center, the library, offices and faculty rooms as well as computers for public use in the lobby. The student service center is located next to the main building close to the governmental sports grounds and gymnasium that are used for FGCC's sports days.
